Runners
Where agents run, and how they move between machines.
A runner is the part of Kosem that runs agents on a machine. It keeps them alive when the terminal that started them closes.
Where runners run
- Your laptop. Each agent still works in its own microVM, apart from your files and keys.
- Your own servers. A self-hosted runner keeps agents next to your code, data and network.
- Kosem cloud. MicroVMs on demand, for long tasks and agents no laptop has to carry.
Moving an agent
You can move an agent from one runner to another in either direction, for example from your laptop to Kosem cloud when you close the lid, and back again later. The agent keeps its files, its conversation and its access, and carries on where it left off.
